Street Cruising Online Magazine was my idea. I go into Service Stations and Newsagents all the time and look at all these car magazines that are available now. And the cost of them. Most are up around $10 and if you have a look at them, most are probably half filled with ads. I had several reasons for making an online magazine. The first reason is cost. I wanted to find a way to create a car magazine that was free to the readers, but still showed quality cars, gave info on all the car shows and the car scene. The second reason is my love of cars. I have been a revhead since the day I got my driver's license. I love cars and the car scene, and have been part of it for a long time. I have been heavily involved in Autofest and Powercruise since the beginning. One of the best parts of creating Street Cruising is the opportunity it has given me to get out there and meet all the car people.

I also wanted to give the girls a chance. I created a section called Go-Fast-Girls. It has been pretty rare to see girl's cars in the major magazines. I thought it was time for a change. All you have to do is look at all the editions of Street Cruising from 2007 and you will see that there are some nice cars owned by girls and they put as much time and effort into modifications as us guys do, sometimes more.

I breath nitrous and have petrol running through my veins just like the rest of you.  Street Cruising is about everyone in the car scene, from big time racers to weekend cruisers.
