Brad's Liberty
Brad Miles picked up his car around 6 months ago with almost all of the current modifications already on it. To pick up a car like this with everything already done was an awesome bargain at $24k. The car is a 2002 Subaru B4 Liberty Gen 3. Now Brad is a convert. He originally had a VZ Storm ute, but the attraction of turbo cars was too much and Brad was lost to the dark side. But dark side or not, this is one gorgeuos Subaru.

The list of modifications for Brad's Liberty is long, so I better get into it. The crank is a 2.2 litre stroker crank inside an EJ20 block which has been closed, decked and crack tested. The custom CP forged pistons are attached to billet I-beam rods with ARP rod bolts. Hasting chrome moly rings. ARP head stud kit holds the head on, which has had some custom port and polish work. STI multi-layered steel head gasket.

GT35R Turbo forces in the air through a PWR front mount intercooler. There is a Autronic SM4 cold air intake, a TIAL 38mm external gate and GFB Stealth FX blow off valve. It has a K&M pod filter and an electronic boost controller. The fuel comes in from a Walbro 550hp fuel pump, a Bosch 044 pump, 1.5 litre surge tank, a Malpassi fuel regulator, custom fuel rails and 1000cc injectors. This car is one tough little car and is definately not just a pretty face. It has managed to pump out 263.7 on an all wheel dyno.

The gearbox is a 6 speed STi out of a WR-X02 and gets the power through a 3100 pound Jim Berry race clutch. The stopping duties are by RDA slotted front and rear disks with red/green Stuff pads on front and rear. The 19" chrome wheels are packin 225/35/19 rubber. There are a few people who Brad wanted to thank. Darren the previous owner for most of the work that went into it. Tunes at the Gabba and Chiptorque at Nerang. As tough as this car is, Brad just wanted a good strong cruiser to combine with his obsession with turbos. This Subaru Liberty is a complete combination of style, beauty and horsepower. What more would you want??????????????????????
