Pro Force Harley

I have been unabled to make up my mind about featuring a bike.  I have thought about it, and finally my mate Dan Pennell talked me into it.  This bike is special.  You see I have known Dan for many many years, and he has looked like a biker for just about as long as I have known him.  All he was missing was the Harley.  Until recently that is, when he finally got his hands on a 2004 Harley Davidson Dyna Wideglide.

Now Dan being a big bearded, tattooed biker, meant I thought he would look better on the other side of the camera, so we got hold of the lovely Emily to take his place astride the big Harley.  I am sure she was as impressed with it as we were.

Although it looks fairly well stock, there are quite a few subtle mods on Dan's Harley.  Dan started with a set of Apehangers, but unfortunately after only a few days, the local constabulary pulled him over and made him remove them.  The were replaced by a set of raked trees, with 5 degree rake and the forks have been lengthened by 2 inches to give it a little more of a chopper look.  There is a set of progressive shocks up front and a forkbrace too.  The bars are 1 3/4 inch roller bars made by Burleigh Bars on the Gold Coast.

The exhaust are Vance and Hines, Big Shots, which has a poer chamber to help the bike squeeze a few more horsepower out of the big 88 cubic inch V-twin engine.  The bike has a Dynojet Power Commander computer system which has also boosted the horsepower by around 28.  Dan's Harley has fuel injection and a high flow air cleaner, and it will only run on 98+ octane fuel.

I have known Dan for quite a while.  He is the proprietor of Pro-Force Engineering on the Gold Coast.  Check out their site.  They do quality work.  I have tossed up for a while whether to feature a motorbike or not.  I decided to feature Dan's bike because he is a mate, and the type of bike it is reflects the attitude of Street Cruising.  If you want to see more bikes on Street Cruising, send an email and let us know.  Even if you aren't a fan, we love to hear your feedback here at Street Cruising.  For now though, just sit back and enjoy Dan's custom Wideglide, and the lovely Emily.
