So Sassy
Heather Christiansen came to me from the Queensland Supra Club, and seeing a few pics of the black beauty was enough for me to sign her up for the Go-Fast-Girls section of Street Cruising. Heather had always wanted a sports car, but family and other life commitments always got in the way. That is until recently, and when the opportunity did arise, it wasn't really a Supra that she wanted.
Heather was originally in the market for an RS Impreza, but when she went and looked at one, it "didn't really do anything for her" and she had a friend with a Nissan 200SX who convinced her to start looking at imports, so she bought the Supra. She bought it from the Gold Coast from a couple that was expecting a baby. As a matter of fact, they had to wait for Heather to come and pick up the car so they could race off to hospital for a Caesarian.
The car itself is a 1995 Toyota Supra with a naturally aspirated 3 litre 2JZ engine. The exhaust has had an upgrade to 3 inch with a high flow cat and extractors. She has also installed a K & N filter. The gearbox is the standard Toyota 4 speed auto. The wheels have been upgraded with Avanti Viennas in 19 x 9.5 on the rear and 19 x 8.5 with Nexen rubber all round. The body kit is OEM all round.
Heather hasn't had the car that long but she enjoys it as much as anyone I have met so far. She went to Morgan Park at Warwick for some track work on the weekend and although she was taking it easier than most, she was just getting used to the car and still giving it a bit of a workout. She wants to get involved in some skidpan work and maybe some drag racing, and she is definitely keen to find somewhere to lay some rubber.
Heather's Supra may not be world beating in speed or horsepower, but it is definitely a head turner and she is definitely keen to get out there and have some fun in it. Girls with an attitude to cars and driving are not that common, but Heather definitely goes along with the term Go-Fast-Girl
