Latoya's Toy

Latoya Bussenius is passionate about her car.  She is heavily involved in Cruising Brisbane and is a true revhead, so when she went looking for a car, it couldn't just be your standard run of the mill station wagon.  In her words, she is not an "old fat momma and she isn't looking for a minivan".  It needed to be something sporty, and something with some power under the hood.  She looked at a few different things before she noticed a Velocity Red Mazda 6 MPS sitting in a dealership.  She test drove the 08 Mazda 6 and didn't like it, but as she was walking out she noticed an 07 and she instantly fell in love with it.

The engine is a 2.3 litre injected 4 cylinder 16 valve turbo, which Mazda claims is capable of 256hp and 280 ft/lb of torque.  The gearbox is a 6 speed manual and it is an all wheel drive.

The wheels are BSA 18 x 7 all round with Bridgestone Potenza rubber 215/45/18.  Everything on this car is pretty much standard except for the wheels.  The MPS model with it's improved horsepower figures and all wheel drive technology makes it not your every day run of the mill family car.  It is certainly worthy of being Latoya's toy.
