8th Sinn
Welcome to the first edition of Go-Fast-Girls for 2008. I was browsing Drivn By Heels and came across a girl who’s name was 8th Sinn. Unusual name I thought, but upon introducing myself, I found Amelia was keen to have a feature done on her car. I was all ears until she told me she was from Perth. I was thinking there is this gorgeous Honda S2000 over there, and I have no way of shooting it. Then two days later, as if it were meant to be, I get an email from a guy in Perth called Steve Emery, who is looking to do some photography for me. The deal was done.

I am guessing Amelia is like most young girls. She wanted a pony, and for quite a while she was quite a horsey girl, but then she found a way of having lots of horsies at once. This S2000 is stunning. And Amelia hasn't messed around modifying it either. Let's start with the drivetrain. She has installed an Apexi AFC NEO Engine Management System and a Fujita F5 Cold Air Intake. The used up stuff gets out through a HKS two inch exhaust system with double 2 1/2 inch outlets.

The outside of the Honda has had some upgrades. The mirrors are now carbon fibre M Racing mirrors, and there is a carbon fibre Siebon lip. The car is painted in Silver and sits on a set of super low King Springs and Cusco front and rear strut braces are covered in carbon fibre as well. All this rolls on a set of Advanti Racing Overdose 19 inch wheels on Nexan tyres. Underneath the car glows in red thanks to some neon, which Amelia assures me makes it go faster....

The inside of the 2000 is a real work of art. Everything has been decked out in red, black and white leather in complete custom design, including seats and door trims. The sound system is all quality gear. The head unit is an Alpine Slider, pumping through a 4 channel Alpine amplifier. A JL 12 inch sub-woofer supplies ample door while the rest of the sound comes through a set of MD Quartz speakers in the doors.

A big thank you has to go out to Amelia's boyfriend, Brent Christensen for all the hard work he has put into the car. All in all this is one very attractive package, put together by a very attractive Go-Fast-Girl. It has the external mods to make it turn heads as it drives past. It has the internal mods to make the ride in it as luxurious as possible, and it has a few mods under the bonnet too, to give it that little bit extra to an engine that was already fairly capable when it left the Honda plant. Like I said, all in all an overall well put together car. And for this girl who used to be right into horses, there are a few other advantages. It is less likely to buck you off, and it wont crap on your grass.................
