Jodie Is Drivn

If you are a Street Cruising regular, you will know about Drivnbyheels.  For those who don't, www.drivnbyheels.com.au is a car enthusiast's website for the girls.  We have seen a few Drivn girls here on Street Cruising, with hopefully more to come, because the Drivn girls all seem to have nice rides.  This is Jodie  Sattler's 1992 Toyota Aristo.  Jodie is the Qld president of Drivn, so I have been looking forward to featuring this one.

Jodie's Aristo is black with a blue pearl, with a Wise Sport full body kit, with Gandor mirrors.  The wheels are Ray's Victrix 18 x 11s on the rear and 18 x 9s on the front.  The rubber on the rear is 285/30/18s and the front is sporting 235/40/18s.  The stock suspension has been replaced with coilovers.

Under the hood is a 2JZ GTE 3.0 litre Toyota engine with a pair of CT20A turbos.  The internals of the engine are standard, but the 2J has always been known as a very tough engine from the factory.  The turbos are also stock, except for the air getting a temperature drop through a GReddy intercooler.  The gearbox is an electronic control type 4 speed auto, with a shift kit through it.  The rear end is an LSD with 3.9:1 gears.  Brakes are the standard ventilated 4 wheel disks.  This combination has been good enough for 264hp(197kw) on the dyno and a 14.3 @ 97mph on the racetrack.  Not bad for stock engine and turbos.

The interior is pretty standard.  It comes as leather standard so not much changing is needed, but she does have a stereo which is a work in progress.  An eclipse head unit with MP3/CD capacity is already in the car, and by the time this goes to print, Jodie will be pumping out through 2 Eclipse amps( PA5422 & PA 6213),  a set of Boston SL60 splits and an Image Dynamics 15 inch sub-woofer which is going to be installed in a custom parcel shelf.

Jodie had a Toyota Supra before this one, which would explain her love of 2Js, but she wanted something different.  So much so, that she waited over 3 months to have this car imported from Japan.  I think you will agree it was worth the wait.  Jodie loves cars because it is not something that is considered a girl's activity, and she just loves to show up the boys.  She has aspirations of running a 13 with the current set up, and with a car like this. it doesn't look far away.  One thing is for sure, if she gets it into the 13s, she will definately be showin ALOT of the boys up.
